Come join us for Enrichment Camps at KMS. There will be plenty of activities with breakfast, lunch, & transportation provided. Camps start Aug 1st through Aug 11th. They will be Mon through Thurs from 8:30-12:30. For questions, please feel free to call the school at 354-2650.

July 25th-July 27th, 3rd-9th graders can learn about football or improve on their skills at this 3 day camp at the SWECHS practice field. It will be from 8:00am - 12:00pm with breakfast and lunch being provided. For questions, call Abel Estrada at 821-7077.

ATTENTION ALL KMS PARENTS: KMS will be handing out the summer reader books for all incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. Books will be handed out June 23, 2022 - June 30, 2022 from 8:30-3:30. All books can be picked up in the front office.

Parents and Athletes, We are having strength and conditioning for all incoming 7th & 8th grade athletes Mon-Thurs from 1–3pm in June. For incoming 7th and 8th grade athlete PARENTS ONLY: Please scan the QR codes to join the BAND APP to talk with coaches.

It has been an exciting first week of enrichment camps here at KMS. There has been some very interesting and special activities all geared towards the students interests as well as making sure that they enjoy their time here.

Kennedy Middle School had their end of the year luncheon for all staff on Friday, June 3, 2022. During that luncheon, administration was able to hand out service awards. These individuals that received an award have given PSJA anywhere from 5 to over 30 years of service.

KMS had their 8th Grade prom as they entered the last week of school. The theme was Hollywood Night & the students looked great as they all came dressed to impress. It was a great time for students & staff in attendance & everyone really enjoyed the time!

A huge thank you to SWECHS for bringing their seniors to KMS for a very special Senior Grad Walk. The seniors had the chance to walk the halls of KMS, see previous teachers, & see the students that are headed to SW as the next generation of Javelinas. Thank you SW! J's UP!

Our final awards assembly belonged to our 8th grade class. They have matured and blossomed into some very impressive young men and women. Congratulations to the 8th grade Kennedy Middle School class of 2022. Good luck to you as you move on to the next chapter of your lives.

And the ceremonies continued here at KMS. This time the 7th Grade students had their chance to shine. It was another beautiful awards assembly & a huge thank you goes out to our administration, counselors, & all who helped make this a beautiful moment for students and parents.

There will be no school on Monday, May 30, 2022 in observance of Memorial Day. Classes will resume on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. Let us remember, honor, and thank our brave soldiers during this day.

KMS held the Dual Language Awards Assembly. These students have done such an amazing job being able to earn 2 High School Spanish credits while they have been in Pre-AP & AP Spanish classes. The Dual Language Program and KMS would like to congratulate these students!

KMS had their 6th Grade Awards Assembly and it was wonderful to see the students that did such an amazing job in their academics this school year. The awards ranged from All A Honor Roll, All A-B Honor Roll, Perfect Attendance, Top 10%, and Library recognitions as well.

ATTENTION ALL KMS STUDENTS: Please do not bring any backpacks. Also, please remember to bring your laptops, chargers, cases, and hot spots if you were issued one. All laptops and electronic devices issued out need to be turned in before the school year ends.

KMS will be having Prom on May 31, 2022. The theme is "Hollywood Night" & will be from 5:30pm - 7:30pm. It is open to KMS 8th grade students only. Tickets are as follows: $8.00-single ticket & $15.00-couple. Please remember that students must follow the dress code policy.
