ED MAYES PHOTOGRAPHY RESIGNS AS OFFICIAL LINCOLNSHIRE FA PHOTOGRAPHER: Due to irreconcilable creative differences, unrealistic expectations from the Lincolnshire FA and my work being called “unusable” in it’s current form I hereby resign as the Official Lincolnshire FA Photographer with immediate effect. Unfortunately I simply cannot carry on with all of the current and future demands that are and will be made of myself and my expertise. It is a simply an unworkable proposition. I will assume that as my work from Wednesday night has been deemed unusable it has been rejected by the Lincolnshire FA and so I will not charge the Lincolnshire FA for my time. I would however suggest that a charitable donation of my fee (£125) is made to Doctors Without Borders. I feel my photos from Wednesday night’s Senior Trophy Final between @LouthTownFC and @granthamtownfc are a strong set of images that tell a compelling story of the evening’s events. I sincerely hope that my images are released as I intended without further editing by the rights holder (the Lincs FA).
