When your own spokesperson comes out to admit that the government is throwing dust into the eyes of Ghanaians, then the silence becomes louder than any press conference. Ei Ghana, wake up! They say the cedi is stable, but teachers—ɔnko nimdeɛ kɔma yɛn nyinaa—have not been paid, and they are suffering through no fault of their own.
Yet when FREE SHS was introduced, it was for every Ghanaian child—whether you are NDC, NPP, CPP, or no party at all. FREE SHS was cancelled, and teachers are still unpaid—over a year and counting.
Ɛyɛ asɛm kɛseɛ! Cocoa farmers are crying.
Gold reserves are gone.
And suddenly, the President’s brother is the richest man in Ghana acquiring everything. Ghanaians, we are not angry enough.
We complain in trotro, at chop bars, and on radio phone‑ins—but where is the accountability? Let me remind you: I criticized my own government when we were in power. That is true democracy. That is loving your country more than your party. Ghanafoɔ, yɛn ara asaase yi—wake up before it’s too late.
