@cutiieepie6 I am not far from where those people in New York was getting Quilts and taking back there and selling for big money. My MoMo used to make all the time and would get daughters and family to help her. I still know people who make but not like when i was younger.

I don’t think I’ve ever felt this defeated. I spent months choosing every piece of fabric for this quilt, putting my heart into every seam, just to have the person I made it for tell me it wasn't "their style" and that it would just end up in the closet. My hands are still sore from the quilting, but it’s my heart that’s really hurting. Is it ever truly worth putting this much love into a gift when it just gets dismissed? I'm honestly heartbroken. 💔
