Hi everyone. 🫶 Resumed my Web development journey today, & learnt a few new things. Today's CSS class was theoretical and it was centered on COLOURS & how to work with varieties of it. - I learnt about the Color theory being the study of how colours interact with each other & how they affect our perception. Also learnt about the color wheel & color scheme. Under Color types, i learnt about: -> Named colors which is generic and everyone is familiar with it. -> RGB(Red, green, & blue) color model which deals with the creation of colors by combining light at different intensities. -> HSL(Hue, saturation, & lightness) color model which represents colours more in line with human perception of colours. -> Hex Codes & color value which is a concise way of repping colours in the RGB colour model by working with the base 16 numbering system, ranging from six string of Zeros to six strings of Fs which also have their shorthand attribute depending on any repetition exhibited by the values. -> Linear and Radial gradients which can be properly used wherever i plan on using an image in my CSS thus increasing versatility in creation of elements, attributes, etc. My next class on it is gonna be a workshop so i will make sure i show y'all how it goes.
