Overall, support was very nice and the hold music was top tier. However, there is a lack of communication internally and lock of transferring features. I put my money in an account with less interest but I know I can transfer from.

It was back and forth of support unlocking my account, then some other department locking it. I finally had them initiate the transfer themselves, their own department blocked it. Ended up having to close my account and re-open a new one. Transfered everything out.

Same experience with Marcus by Goldman Sachs. It went well funding the money, had a nice interest rate! Then when I tried transferring out $5k, they blocked it. Then locked my account for fraud. Talked to support daily for 2-3 weeks.

I opened a joint savings in december on marcus goldman sachs because they were the highest interest rate offered by an actual legit bank. after a few months we pulled the trigger on a house. i went to wire our funds into escrow account and found out that our account isn't eligible for wire transfers. got on the phone with support. sorry you aren't eligible at this time. why? i can't go into details about that sir. ??? okay, so i go on the app to transfer the funds to my personal savings which i'll then wire from. i get a call from marcus. sir, you can't transfer funds you didn't deposit. what? what is the point of opening a joint savings?? in order to get the funds from our joint savings into the escrow account, i have to transfer "my" funds to my personal account, my girlfriend's funds to her personal, then wire from each one individually. what the fuck? fast forward a couple months- time to deposit the escrow refund check. it has both our names on it. okay cool- finally something i can use our joint marcus account for. marcus doesn't do mobile check deposit. i would have to mail it in. absolute fucking JOKE of a product. we've transferred all of our funds out. i'd rather have 1% less interest rate than deal with a borderline useless savings account.

a masters degree means one thing and one thing only:
you had no clue what to do after your bachelor so you just prolonged studying
degrees have inflated to the point where they are worthless unless you went to an ivy league, in which case it merely signals that you are conscientious and smart enough
even a phd is useless. i know so many girls who got phds merely bc they had no plan for how to enter the workforce, so they came up with a totally boring and ultra niche "thesis" and then proceeded to drag themselves through pointless research for years
this was all true before ai, now i really don’t know what they teach you at university
the main purpose of university was to have a jolly good time with your mates and to get fuqed up on drugs and have intercourse with girls

@RoyalEndeavour There's a million tracking softwares just set that up, and make sure people are working. When I was able to work from home, I was much happier. Much more sleep, was able to make my own lunch, it was just much healthier.

Working from home gives people an extra 1-2 hours of sleep in the morning and an extra 1-2 hours to spend with their families in the evening. It also allows you to avoid ever having to interact with HR cat ladies, diversity hires, or other such cretins.
This is a good thing. But of course, establishment conservatives like Farage only care about squeezing a little more GDP out of people and not their well-being. What a worthless political ideology they have.
