Hearing that at least one person running for office is spreading the falsehood that your vote is public record. Your vote is private. There is no identifying information that connects you to your vote. The only record is whether or not you voted, not who or what you voted for.

As we all await the outcome of what feels like a make-or-break election, I want to offer some perspective, if you’ll hand a fellow with eight-plus decades the mic for a moment.

My grandfather is a true native. As he ages, his health becomes weaker and weaker. Today is his 78th birthday. Everyone please wish him good health.
