Our JSK and SK/1 classes went to visit the Prince Edward Point Bird Observatory. They learned so much about the migration research and the other great work they do to care for PECs bird population.

Kente students had a great day at Mary Ann Sills track running short distance relay races. Congratulations to all and thank to Mr. Blair and Mr. Suurd for coaching!

Hey Kente Families, Tomorrow night (Thursday May 2nd) School Council is hosting a "FAMILY ENVIRONMENTAL NIGHT". In one of the sessions we will be making beeswax food covers. Come on out and join the fun!

Look what you can pick up if you and your family come out to the "FAMILY ENVIRONMENTAL NIGHT" on Thursday May 2. We hope to see you there between 5:30 - 7:30. You will also be able to fill this bag up with lots of take home goodies.

There was so much artistic creativity happening at Kente last week!! Thank you to Paint Can Pets / mom, Paula Carter, for sharing her talent and style with our SK/1 class.

Kente Families, we are hoping to start growing rhubarb. We are reaching out to our school community to ask if you have rhubarb would you mind donating some of your spring shoots to us. Please call the school if you are able to donate rhubarb to our garden. Thank you in advance!!

Maple Syrup, here we come!!

These are just a teaser from today's visit to the McFaul's Sugar Bush at the bottom of the hill. Our SK/1 class and the Grade 8s had 3 generations of McFaul's and Mr. Kempers teaching them about Canadian gold ~ maple syrup!

We were rocking our socks today! Future Kente Cougar Parker, dropped by to visit his brother in our SK/1 class and then visited our Kindergarten class.
