H.E President William Ruto has directed the Ministry of Sports to fully fund the construction of the 10,000 seater capacity Kilifi Stadium, foregoing previous fiscal arrangement with the County Government of Kilifi. Further, In 2 weeks time, the contractor taking over construction works at the 15,000 seater capacity Mombasa Stadium will move in and begin to asses the scope of work. H.E President William Ruto has directed the two stadiums to be completed before December 2026.

@Dr_AustinOmondi correct me if am wrong but those were the same things affecting NHIF. SHA was to eliminate such in a good system change to be effective there must be milestones and tests to confirm each layer all is as expected before moving to the next step. If you fail to plan you plan to fail

I can spare my day and educate you on why the SHA funding model is superior to NHIF. It’s us Kenyans who are defrauding the system through ghost claims, ghost hospitals and corrupt politicians. Remember there is enough money for our needs but one enough for our greed.

Edwin Sifuna is a smart and intelligent leader but sometimes he applies his smartness and intelligence to "carry us pumpkins." Appearing on Citizen TV yesterday, he said that the installation of Dr. Oburu as the Party Leader of ODM was not procedural and that he was never involved. The truth is that Sifuna was at the centre of everything including the day the PL was officially sworn in. It's okay to exercise your freedom of expression in a Party that espouses democracy but it's hypocritical to continue holding such a critical office in the party when you no longer believe in the party's decisions and activities. Resign and leave the party if you are that principled.
