A day well spent with partners from @BritishRedCross @WWF_Kenya @wwf_uk on the potential of our shared commitment to advance nature based solutions in risk reduction.
Truly inspired by community managed projects, including by volunteers of @KenyaRedCross, that protect and restore fragile ecosystems.
Thank you @Jkkiplagat @TanyaMSteele and @ButsanaSita for the shared vision and commitment.

Last week, we held a series of productive meetings in Saudi Arabia with key partners: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, Saudi Red Crescent Authority and World Assembly of Muslim Youth.
The delegation, led by PS Ismail Madey, included Prince Abdallah bin Faisal Al Saud, Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz, Dr. Taimur Shukrullah, Dr. Saleh Baabid, H.E. Joseph Masila, Deputy Ambassador Dr. Suleiman Ibrahim Roba and Ambassador Adan Mohammed.
Discussions focused on strengthening strategic partnerships, aligning humanitarian priorities and unlocking funding to support the Kenya Red Cross response and recovery efforts.
All three institutions expressed strong interest in collaboration, particularly in emergency response, health support, capacity building, and faith-based (zakat-driven) programming.
Grateful for the shared commitment. Now onto delivery.
