If we are to achieve sustainability as HRDs, it's time we supported a little beyond our day to day work.

Social and economic threats should also be considered for HRDs. A good number commit so much to the betterment of the people to the extent of not having any active income. Some also suffer social disenfranchisement owing to their stand on issues.

It should go down memory lane, that for the second time since 2002, civil society in Kenya has taken a side in the 2022 elections, then they still come on live TV in pretence of being independent observers. You can't eat your cake and still have it.

Kenyan civil society should be working more with communities across ethnic and political divides to help foster a less divisive political culture. Being partisan affects their ability to reduce tensions and prevent violent conflict around elections. #MbogiYaAmaniKE
