@ameliimew I think a lot of people equate happy ending with a satisfying ending. If the author can close the storylines at the end, the story has an interesting climax then I consider it satisfactory even if it's not a "happy" ending for the protagonists.

I hate when people dislike an ending because it isn’t a happy ending. It sounds dumb but I see it so often online like I always like to look into the average opinion after I finish a game and soo often when there is a realistic or even sad ending it ruins the game for people
