5) Non-C/SS/CF Young Junior San Diego State LF Adam Magpoc Speedy switch hitting utility type who led the Cape in SB last year. Walks @ at above average rate & could carve out a nice role in pro ball Player Comp: Less productive Dylan Campbell (#LetsGoDodgers 2023 4th Rd)

4) Junior CF Oklahoma Jason Walk Toolsy switch hitting CF who has a well-rounded offensive profile paired w/ wheels. With added upper body muscle, Walk could turn into an absolute monster. Comp: A more productive Eddie King Jr. (#LetsGoBucs 2025 16th Rd)

Working on Full Season #MiLB Heatmaps. Location data is not standardized, but gives you a good idea about where a guy throws. Strike zone is guesstimated based on 2025 data. New #ForTheLou pitching prospect Yhoiker Fajardo is test subject for today

@landonb_bsbl I believe their rankings are a rough aggregation of all MLB Front Office Big Boards. My guess is that enough organizations covet SEC production which boosts Curiel over others

I have Moore as the 23rd best college prospect, Curiel at 28th, and Broussard at 31st There’s a lot more weird placements, but that one stood out the most for me. Also Kevin Roberts Jr. at 86???

Going back to Pipeline’s draft rankings, I find the discrepancy between Derek Curiel (#6), Tre Broussard (#46), and Lucas Moore (#84) very weird. I suppose Curiel is the most projectable, but this placement feels like it’s based off name value alone.

Pretty cool to see Ojeda on the Top 100 #MLBDraft Prospects list for @MLBPipeline (see quoted tweet). 1st 🖼️ is a Contact vs. OPS+ scatterplot for last year's #D1Baseball stats. Other 2 🖼️ are Movement plots based on data from last year's Draft Cycle, though less comprehensive

Cool #MiLB scatterplot to showing relationship between contact & OPS+ among SS in A+ (age 21 or younger). Names like Konnor Griffin, Jackson Holliday, Elly De La Cruz, etc. are standouts. A player comparison example: Franklin Arias -> Jackson Merrill w/ less production. Thoughts?

More visualization improvements coming, this time in the filter department. My idea is interchangeable X/Y axis for scatterplots. Right now, you can only do HIT vs. RUN tool comparison. This update will allow any rating to be compared (examples below). Let me know what you think!

@CleGuardPro @CleGuardians Excited for 2026 MiLB #GuardsBall, especially 2025 70th pick RHP Will Hynes. Using publicly available Statcast data, he's a movement outlier among fellow RHP teenagers who avg 90+ MPH on their Sinkers during the 2025 #MLBDraft cycle. Won't even be 19 until mid-July, crazy upside!

An extremely early look at possible 2026 rotations across the entire Cleveland #Guardians organization down to the Arizona Complex League.
