Update for my old friends on here. Good things: Murph and Micheál (like 37kg now !) thriving. How they have bonded and grown together really is such a beautiful thing 💚.
Bad things: still no job
Centrelink making me wait 3 mths before I can get anything ( 2 weeks to go) basically ensuring we lose our home.
Can't access super because need to be on centrelink for 26 weeks, by then home is gone !
Mortgage payments paused and even with two lodgers im going backwards in every sense of the word.
Honestly, mentally and emotionally it's so difficult. Getting made redundant was one thing but the actual realisation the basic life and security you worked so so hard to build through hard work is literally hanging by a thread is what I'm now struggling with the most.
Didn't think a return to depression and anxiety was part of the package but should have tbh.
I feel like such a failure to all my friends on here that have supported me over the years.
Losing my home is one thing and i would walk away from it in an instant, but with it also means losing my beloved puppys that have always kept me going.
It's not the update I know you were hoping for but I'm still in the fight.
Hopefully something turns up soon and the next post will be more upbeat. Phil, Murph, Micheál 💚

Haven't been on here for a while. Lots happening unfortunately: Good things- puppys are thriving, Micheál had his 1st full groom but is still huge after!. Redundancy happened, usual thing where you just get cut loose. Job market is non existent so looks like we will be losing our home soon. Minor collateral damage in the grand scheme of things according to our RBA governor Had to get an emergency passport to travel back to Ireland very soon due to a very close family member now just with a few weeks left. Still no idea what I'll do with the puppies when I fly. All things considered I'm actually doing ok though. Work through each bit step by step. Shit scared though because I know losing the house = losing Micheál and Murphy. I'll sell a kidney on the dark Web before I'll let my boys go.
