The “developed” TN + Kerala people are overdependent on Karnataka for high paying white collar jobs. Kerala is an economic basket case where longer term socioeconomic problems are going to be dire unless they manage to generate serious economic momentum beyond tourism and remittances within their state soon. TN has 1 Cr approx. more population than Karnataka Yet current LS seats are 39 for TN and only 28 for Karnataka Tamil Nadu has 10% more population than Karnataka Yet has 30% more seats than Karnataka Therefore value of 1 vote in TN is 30% more than a person in Karnataka
