No one warns you about the level of self-advocacy necessary for dealing with chronic illness. You cannot trust the doctors, the insurance providers, or the pharmacies to complete tasks or follow up with you. You must intervene, demand, fight.

@riggstah I sneak my morning Greek yogurt into smoothies. Bananas are essential for texture, but everything else is up to your imagination/taste.

have been trying to eat greek yogurt and (foraged) fruit for breakfast because my doctor told me i need to start the day with more protein but…it makes me want to vom lol. does anyone have “healthy” breakfast ideas that won’t activate my gag reflex?!
