All fake. He gave the Iranian regime billions for terror abroad, missiles later fired at civilians, and genocide in Syria. He allowed the regime to preserve its enrichment capacity for later. He turned his back on pro-democracy protesters. Obama is the reason we had to go to war.
Marco Foster@MarcoFoster_

President Obama on Iran: “We pulled it off without firing a missile. We got 97% of their enriched uranium out. There’s no dispute that it worked and we didn’t have to kill a whole bunch of people or shut down the Strait of Hormuz”

@Liz_Wheeler I'm not saying it's time to panic, but the current outbreak is the slightly communicable Andes strain, not the rodent borne one normally occurring in the US or responsible for the 1993 outbreak.

8-12 people die from Hantavirus every year in the United States, compared to ~350,000 people who die from medical error. But sure, let's freak out over Hantavirus. Good gracious.

@Shoestring_Lab @thestustustudio @TIME Why is accessible a first concern? There are many simply written hero stories, the point of reading Homer is to experience it The point of teaching literature is to learn how to parse a message and extract more than simple concepts from it, a lesson valuable elsewhere in life

I disagree on that point. Yes, her translation uses much more modern language, and no, I would not recommend it in an academic course on Homer, but as an introduction to the material, she has made it more accessible to a modern audience. Why do people think that's a bad thing? The gender and race swapping is all Nolan.

It's definitely richer, but we were taught literary reading comprehension compared to other generations that expect everything to be a Michael Bay movie. Learning to read, absorb and appreciate writing like the RF version is a skill that translates elsewhere in life. Instead of dumbing things down we should be pushing to raise people up

After breaking a bottle on his face, a mob of “teens” on e-bikes attempt to stomp and kick the life out of this man on the Huntington Beach boardwalk. Only one teen of the dozens involved in the attack was arrested and cited. This post brought you by Gavin Newsom, reminding you that crime is down in California

@denisegullion4 @libsoftiktok Even if it did cost that much, it's still a fraction of the normal grift. Examing Govt spending is like getting kicked in the face every morning when you wake up. Eventually you'll start to look forward to a kick in the balls.

@RealJamesWoods Yes, and they don't care. The settlement costs less than the equivalent cost of advertising needed to do the same amount of damage to a candidate Right now there are lots of Dems self satisfied that Pratt is bad because of this interview. You can't buy that 30 sec at a time.

Didn’t Trump sue CBS for doing this kind of shit with a Kamala Harris word salad interview and win a 16 million dollar settlement? Isn’t what they’re doing AGAIN to Spencer Pratt election interference?
Eric Daugherty@EricLDaugh

🚨 HOLY CRAP! LA mayor candidate Spencer Pratt just caught CBS engaging in ELECTION INTERFERENCE He says they condensed a 1 hour interview into a “5 minute hit piece” after he WALLOPED Karen Bass “They need to air the full, unedited interview.” They KNOW Pratt is surging in LA

As soon as the deliveries are made in the front door, you move the stuff out the back and sell it at a discount. You take a two hundred dollar case of booze and sell it for a hundred. It doesn't matter. It's all profit. And then finally, when there's nothing left, when you can't borrow another buck from the bank or buy another case of booze, you bust the joint out. You light a match.

@JDunlap1974 @nikitabier It must be impossible at this point for someone to organically grow an account and be heard without the support of larger accounts retweeting, following and liking them. It's hard to even get a decent conversation going these days because it feels like you don't get seen.

Keep going with the insults, is that the Oxford or Cambridge debate team I detect helping you. He was there at a closed to the media, invite only event to give a speech that included the topic of Canada-US relations. Only the ignorant refuse to question motivations and it's totally understanding you think his speech had nothing to do with US-Canadian relations, nothing to question there. I'm not saying that the use of the title is proof alone, just that it's an indication of the framing and it's relevant when examining the whole.

@KernelHappy @visionshift1776 @Jim87504388 @catturd2 @grok Obama did not come to discuss and influence policy relevant to the ongoing dispute Carney. You are making shit up. He was here to give a speech at a hotel. You are going to reach at the fact Carney didn’t say “former” now? 😂 Keep reaching retard.

I'd consider myself a Trump supporter and reviewing the Logan act I don't think it's unreasonable to question the intent of the conversations with foreign countries that he had between his terms. It's not only ignorant to NOT question the actions of high profile people, it's dangerous and irresponsible.

Again you respond with nothing of substance and only insults. President LastName and Mr. President are terms reserved for the sitting president. The proper convention is to refer to them as Mr. LastName or Former President Last Name. The current trade dispute is entirely relevant when the sitting Prime Minister addresses a former president in country to discuss business relations. Third, whether he's paid or otherwise does not indicate his intent. Carney's own statement indicates that he is there to discuss and influence policy relevant to the ongoing dispute which makes this at the minimum worthy of investigating if it's an infraction of the Logan Act. Instead you're respond with "No no, you're a doodie head" which is not a substantial debating point or retort. Not only is your ability to debat shallow and unskilled, it's incorrect. You've buried yourself in a corner with your argument and are incapable of saying even "gee, I don't agree, but I understand the point he's trying to make." emilypost.com/advice/address…

@KernelHappy @visionshift1776 @Jim87504388 @catturd2 @grok First, Carney addressing him with the title of President is proper convention. Second, irrelevant to the current debate. Third. Obama was paid to speak at a convention. There was no intent to influence foreign government. Good job with the retarded word salad. 👍

You have said absolutely nothing to substantiate your position, rather you only cast insults which is the first sign someone does not understand their argument Since you obviously haven't done YOUR homework, I refer to the text of the Logan Act that clearly states it is against the law for ANY CITIZEN of the US to engage in correspondence or intercourse with the intent to influence foreign government or agent with regard to US disputes or controversy. First, Barack Obama is not President, he's not even an employee of the US Government, he is a private citizen (as far as we know). Carney addressing him with the formal title of President is not proper convention, and demonstrates that Carney considers him an agent of the United States. Second, the US and Canada have a well known and ongoing dispute regarding trade, business and tariffs. Third, Carney states the purpose of the visit is to meet and have "important conversations" and "building with us" further demonstrating this is meant to be a visit to discuss and negotiate future policy and it isn't a visit for poutine and maple syrup. The funny part is I'm willing to admit that Trump's previous foreign interactions between terms are questionable infractions of the the Logan Act, but inevitably your response will be limited to some insult without any actual content. Those capable of rational through will recognize that based upon the above, Obama's visit and interaction is at the minimum warrants questioning / investigating if it's an infraction of the Logan Act.
