@DerekHolly7 I’m an Irish speaking carer in a hospital. Most of the staff are foreign nationals. They are wonderful workers but some patients absolutely love me chatting to them ‘as gaeilge’. The is a connection! Gaeilge abú!!!!

I said to someone before that I feel more like myself when I speak Irish. Unfortunately, maybe predictably, it was answered with "Do you think you're more Irish than me because you speak Irish?" 😂 No. But am I proud of it? ABSOLUTELY I am!

And it helps a LOT I used to be sweating buckets tryna do it all under a giant towel With one flippin hand Impossible to do a bra like that🤦🏻‍♀️

This is not a controversial view. Women deserve women only spaces.

& yet if an Irish boat lands a tuna on board their boat the fines are massive up to 50k but foreign boat is allowed to land them .Our government hung our fishermen out to dry to keep Europe happy.Most European boats are allowed to catch more fish in irish waters than irish boats

This is a quote. ‘It's a joke I've 2 good mates who are traveler men they mainly catch whelks, crab & lobster & they tell me on a regular basis that irish waters are full of foreign travelers & their catch is never checked for fish quotas & the west is full of boats catching tuna
