Out of $OSS Need cash. It’s my lowest conviction position. Taking money on a bounce. Looking to consolidate into my highest conviction plays on this pullback. I almost added to $AMPX yesterday. Probably will soon. I think we get more opportunities.

@timstillman_ VAR isn't a 'technology' - it's four blokes looking at cameras and chatting with the ref to give advice/suggestions. If we had real technology, it would be a different conversation entirely.

Quite simply, there is no good way of using it in football. Every suggestion you can think of has a host of unintended consequences. Various levels of implementation have been tried and all of them make people angry and unhappy. I will get a host of replies to this with a load of suggestions, a load of people saying 'oh it's not the technology it's the people' (totally irrelevant, the complaint is not the efficacy of the technology but its consequences on the game and you're just surfacing an unsolvable problem anyway). Abolish.

Premier League fans deliver damning verdict on VAR. 75% of 7,946 fans polled by the Football Supporters’ Association “didn’t support the use of VAR”. Too long, too forensic, too much of a joy killer, fans say. Findings shared with Premier League and PGMO. 92% of fans surveyed “agreed” that “VAR has removed the spontaneous joy of goal celebrations” (82% of them “strongly agreed”). 85% of match-going fans “strongly disagreed” with the notion that “VAR makes watching football more enjoyable”. And 83% of those watching on TV. 85% of match-going fans “strongly disagreed” that “VAR decisions are generally resolved in a reasonable amount of time”. Echoed by 83% of those watching on TV. Only 18% agreed that “VAR has improved the overall accuracy of refereeing decisions”. 72% are “concerned about the expansion of VAR beyond its current remit”. 79% “strongly disagreed” with the suggestion “that the match-going experience is better with VAR”. 67% “strongly agreed” that they preferred “watching games that are played without VAR to games with VAR”. 84% “strongly support” goal-line technology. 34% “strongly opposed” to the idea of a challenge system (two per game per team). “These findings back up the FSA's previous survey in 2021, where fans expressed misgivings about the introduction of VAR,” says Thomas Concannon, @WeAreTheFSAPremier League network manager. “The vast majority are reporting the same concerns five years on - the loss of spontaneity when celebrating goals, and an overall worsening of the match-going experience. We have shared the survey results with the Premier League and PGMO, and look forward to discussing its findings with them.” Fans surveyed of all PL clubs and all ages (Under-18 to 65+).

@afneil "... to lead" not "to have led". He obviously means presently, not throughout the entire history of UK politics. I completely understand disagreeing on policy but this doesn't feel like a reasonable criticism.

Polanski is a know-nothing blowhard. The only Jewish person to lead a political party — bar, that is, Benjamin Disraeli, Ed Miliband, Michael Howard, Jimmy Goldsmith and Herbert Samuel. He is clearly ignorant of the country’s history. And much more besides.
Zack Polanski@ZackPolanski

For whoever needs to hear this I'm the only Jewish person to lead a political party - third largest in the country. The Daily Mail have been & always will be my enemy - they historically supported fascists & continue to do so. I'll take no lectures from them on Antisemitism.

@TheRonnieVShow Oh got you haha. I'm a long term bull on most of these but it's a bloodbath and how anyone couldn't see something like this coming is beyond me. I will say though that "cooked" implies they aren’t going back up ever again... I think they will as soon as the market bounces, right?

I'm choosing to not go back and talk about my correct callouts on the following names being COOKED, out of respect for my fellow retailers who are hurting today. Cooked Log: - $IREN - $MU - $ONDS - $TE - $CIFR - $NVDA - $OPEN I may have hurt some feelings saying they were COOKED but it was nothing personal. It was just my honest take based on the technicals. If I get enough haters in the comments then my hand will be forced to use this weekend to show a lot of receipts. (Lets not go there 🙃) Onward and Upward friends. Good times ahead!

@crux_capital_ Strong attempt at TACO, but the market won't buy it. We're ultimately going to need a bigger TACO. The biggest.

@RemoteNavigator Mad price action this week. Looks like I missed out! Might be a chance to re-enter on future consolidation. There's always another ticker.

@Keumars I saw a few sell after the initial earnings pump. I wasn't in it then, and added after the earnings as I liked what I saw. Not sure, would ideally want to see momentum continue for a bit here.coukd see some co solidarity as it battles $5.49 though.

One can say another fossil fuel energy crisis shows the instability writ into fossil fuels and it does. But it also shows they are the life force of the material world and that you cannot jump off that juggernaut at will or think only of a future where they matter somewhat less.
