The 6th opening of Pokemon Horizons already! The visuals look amazing as usual. Really nice to see so many characters as well #anipoke

@angelodotsui BW2 had the most effort. Every trainer got an animation was a proof of that, same with every gym having a unique theme

probably the games game freak put the most effort into

@MrMystery992 Yeah it's just rushed writing man. Thought we were done with that in Horizons. But the post time skip really did some damage on the series as whole. Also in terms of battle choreography and animation

@KevAnipoke Yeah, they should've just used them right from the start of the post timeskip era. I've no problem to believe, that they can Mega Evolve. I just don't buy that they just had Megas all that time, but never used them

It's so great that Mega Evolution will be the main theme in this episode and the next one! Damn feels good if you love it like myself. Only shame is there was 0 development for both Sidian and Coral to have access to Mega Evolution. Same really with Chalce #anipoke

Enjoyable episode today! First episode of the finale of the entire series. Animation isn't that great, but the battles are atleast creative and also exciting to watch. Let's hope it will improve in the next few episodes. But it's a solid start! #anipoke

@SamHain31st It should have never did the alternate universe Ash stuff. They should have kept the same format that the current cast would appear in movies. That's where you actually still connect the anime and the movies in some way

After a 2 week break, we are finally back with another episode of Pokemon Horizons! Beginning of the end for the series I guess, because it's also time for the finale as well! Will be insane seeing so many Mega Evolutions! #anipoke

@SanchoMcLeary @Manga_Kamen Edges it for me a bit as well. I think the story of ZA is great, but it only taking place in a single City is a huge downside for me. Arceus atleast had a fully region, despite being plain. But it felt very big

So, it's been almost half a year since Pokemon Legends Z-A came out - what are your thoughts on the game now?

@Manga_Kamen Love the story of ZA, it's the best we had since Arceus for me. However it's sad that it was only within Lumiose City. I would be 100% sure it would be one of the best games ever if they covered the entire Kalos region. DLC was pretty bad in my eyes as well

@OoCPokemon They just didn't bother to actually put some effort into the game. That's why it got huge hate as well. Like if you do the chibi style, atleast put some effort into it then. This was just sad...

@fr0zenn__ @steelballron Naah it can be playtime as well. Black and White 2 had so much content. One of the best games for a reason. You could spend hundreds of hours into the PWC alone

@steelballron This is impressive hours until you realize that the game essentially keeps tracking time even when your DS is on sleep mode because the C-Gear is still keeping your game running Most of these hours were most likely added up whenever their DS was charging

Pokémon Sword and Shield has some nice animations for signature moves.

@WeesnawBallZ @BB_Deathz In terms of art style yeah Sword and Shield is probably the best we had during the Switch era. However the region itself was very lineair with nothing to do, the story was mediocre and also the towns/cities weren't as big as they were portrayed...

@BB_Deathz Sword and shield are the most underrated games in the series. I’ve been a defender since day one. Animations and gameplay are near the best they’ve ever been

I'm not gonna lie, Legends Arceus is the last Pokémon game that truly looks like "Pokémon"

@DebarghaGu92700 @ShingujiBlade_ I think the story of ZA is better than XY, however it sucks that it's only within Lumiose City. SV is a mess in general because the open world is lacklustre and the story isn't interesting until the Area Zero part, which is literally the end of the game...
