We were at @consensus2026 & @Solana Accelerate over the last week. And one thing is clear: Crypto is no longer just degens in Telegram chats or institutions in conference rooms. It’s both. The industry is evolving in real time, and so is the culture around it. The “E11even afterparty discourse” wasn’t really about a strip club. It was about a bigger question: What does crypto culture look like now that institutions are fully here? The cypherpunks built the rails. Institutions brought the capital. And now both are trying to figure out how to be in the same room without one swallowing the other. At Consensus, you could feel the shift everywhere. TradFi names standing next to crypto-native protocols in a way that would've been unimaginable two years ago. The future of crypto probably isn't tech-bro nightlife. It probably isn't Marriott lobbies either. It's more likely some mysterious third thing. Whatever it is, crypto is growing up and we’re excited for what that means for innovation in the space.
