@StanCollymore This is how you solve it. You just introduce a broad tolerance. If any part of your body (apart from arms) is beyond the thick line you're offside. Even if your ahead by 1mm nobody can complain because it means you're definitely offside. Decisions in seconds!

@RobinRaving @StanCollymore I like this idea more of the thicker line. The wenger idea is too far the other way. Anyone who has played the game or watched the old game just knows.

Should have consistently been this for the last 40 years. Emphasis on great attacking runs off last man, emphasis on defenders (as pairs) covering for one another and will create more positive runs. Converse argument that teams may drop off but let's be honest, the defending at the half way line as an offensive tool is exploitable by counter attacking quickly, so once applied it should add, not take away from the game. Playing on the shoulder as a skillset has been sorely missed.

I’m normally far from being an optimist especially anything Sheff Utd based but 7 of our last 11 games are against the teams above us up to 5th place. Only Wrexham are showing better form than us and they have to come to Bramall lane. Let’s get a keeper on loan asap and go for it

@jakerowl1 Wednesday fans are a strange breed. Beating them 2-1 when we were down to 10 men from 55 mins is decent. They’ve not been getting smashed 5 and 6 nil by other championship clubs and we’re not exactly pulling up trees this season. No disappointment here.
