Recently in @OurKwaleCounty, we experienced the unwavering focus of the Chale people on conservation and the protection of their natural habitats . At the forefront was Madam Governor Fatuma Achani , who led the community in planting the indigenous mangrove trees and is championing for conservation management. A special note of appreciation to the Governor whose leadership remains instrumental in fostering an environment where different communities live together in peace and harmony. This unity is the bedrock upon which sustainable tourism and wildlife protection are built and a powerful reminder that true conservation begins at the grassroots. Governor Achani is a shining example of what it means to be a visionary leader one who prioritizes both the people and the planet. The Ministry is looking forward to working with the county government of Kwale in it’s mandate of conversation and positioning Kenya as a global destination. When a community takes ownership of its environment, nature thrives, and so do the people. Kudos Governor Achani,and the Kwale people 🇰🇪!
