Disney podría no renovar su acuerdo de distribución con New Regency para finales de 2026.

@Keem_ster @CultureCrave Netflix already does that thing of releasing them in a limited way; in fact, they just did it with the Stranger Things finale and the K-Pop Warriors, and in one case they made the cinemas win, and in the other they won.

@KevinAlexis_01 @CultureCrave My netflix is $18 no ads My hulu, disney, & hbo bundle is $33 no ads I don’t believe a 4 week window is anywhere close to recoup the costs of a major film release. Netflix is going to recoup those costs from their subscriber base & they likely wont offer physical releases either

@Keem_ster @CultureCrave The good thing is that the cost of converting to Mexican pesos is higher for having those platforms; in fact, they are among the most expensive. Only Netflix, Prime and previously Apple were the cheape And they've already implemented, for better or worse, the "Select Cinemas".

@Keem_ster @CultureCrave In fact, what's interesting is that in the US there are at least two platforms more expensive than Netflix (Hulu/HBO Max), yet Netflix remains one of the cheapest, especially with ads. And secondly, it's already been confirmed that its release window will be at least four weeks.

@CultureCrave If Netflix wins, every WB franchise is only going to get a limited release run in theaters and that new subscription price is going to be like $50 with ads to compensate for their structure. I hope Paramount wins
