Two quick takes. 1. #CBJ got it going later in third looking for tying goal. They did everything right except score. Happens. Give New York credit for aggressive play and Sorokin shutting door. 2. Team controls own destiny still. Play like that down stretch, they’ll be fine.

Director Barry Sonnenfeld recalled that when Jackson first saw the original Men in Black in a theater in Paris, he actually cried. He told the director he thought it was a "weepy" movie, rather than a comedy. Sonnenfeld first offered him a cameo as one of the celebrity aliens, a common running gag in the franchise. Michael insisted on being a Man in Black agent instead, because his primary goal was to wear the iconic black suit and sunglasses. Sonnenfeld agreed, famously stating, "All that mattered to him was that he wore that black suit" On the day of shooting, Jackson reportedly arrived on set late wearing red pajamas. During the scene, where he checks in via a monitor from a location filled with penguins, he famously kept calling Chief Zed "Zeke". He even asked the director if they could change the character's name to Zeke just for him. After the 22-second scene was finished, Jackson sent Sonnenfeld a handwritten thank-you note on red paper, calling the cameo a fulfillment of a lifelong dream.

@RichSaluki Sounds like the opposite of Tampa. By the time we got back to the car Tuesday the streets were practically cleared. Never seen a game clear out so quickly.

Absolutely the worst ending I've witnessed. So sloppy. The fans here are fucking obnoxious. Traffic getting out is at a standstill 30 min in. The parking lot is a free for all. This will be our last visit to Sunshine. You can keep this place. It sucks ass. Check it off the list

@RealDanyHeatley I was in the arena and honestly it was late in the second when I realized he was playing. I’m not knocking a defensemen I don’t realize is on the ice, because that is one that isn’t making mistakes. I think he shouldn’t have gotten bumped out of the lineup.

@RichSaluki @BlueJacketsNHL I was really impressed last night with Benchmark in Tampa. Really nice. Upper concourse felt narrow but that is a minor complaint. We hit up hattricks after the game and it was great too. Tampa provides an A+ experience to hockey fans.

My take on Tampa's home arena. Excellent. Top notch. Area is top notch. Probably better than LA. Panthers? The area is ass. Nothing around. Its the game or a shopping mall. Down there with Anaheim and Chicago. Arenas-yes, area- NO. @BlueJacketsNHL NWA and district are superior.

Please Blue Jackets, Can you just find a way to win for us and not play with our hearts? That’s all we want. A comfortable and strong finish.

Before tonight, #CBJ was 1-10-2 in its last 13 games in Tampa Bay. The Blue Jackets had lost nine in a row here, with the last win March 30, 2021. The Blue Jackets have dominated this one on the second half of an (originally unscheduled) back-to-back. Huge.
