We’re so proud to announce that @RDixon3D has been successful in her bid for Creative Animation funding with @NIScreen! This allows her to start production on ‘Stan by Me’, a short film about the ‘coming of age’ of two very different lifelong neighbors. 👴

In the past year, I have had the privilege of being a game design mentor to a bunch of people, including women such as @hildewereld and @AbigailGelston! Seeing them grow in their abilities and confidence has been incredible!✨

Being at Italic Pig, a gender diverse studio, is a really rewarding place to arrive at. In my previous years in the industry, I had been in the minority or sometimes the only woman on a team. And you know, sometimes that can be hard. So I was determined to support others.💪

When I joined the @italicpig team, the game was already in development. It was a challenge to wrap my head around every aspect of the game, the vision, the design, the art, everything, as well as take on Lead Designer responsibilities.

Our wonderful @AbigailGelston is basically good at everything. Traditional art? Check. 3D art? Oh yes! Environment design? AbsoLUTELY! Showing us an adorable puppy every day? Definitely. That last one is obviously most important, but didn’t get her this well-deserved nomination!

Where would we be without our outstanding Producer Aisling? Talented, driven and inspiring - if she was on Mastermind, production would be her topic. We’d get nothing done without her! It’s no surprise that she’s been nominated in two categories for this year's GameHers.
