The last point is probably the biggest. IndyCar now has ability to punish drivers even if the system mistakenly allows P2P use. No ambiguity over situations like the one at Long Beach. Also, good on the IOB for providing details of the Long Beach incident. Nice transparency.

I feel like messaging for IndyCar's P2P change is a bit off the mark. There is no change to P2P availability at race start. That is still restricted until the alt S/F. What has changed is P2P is now available during restarts. Also responsibility of use falls to drivers alone.

Did we know the race start was going to be on the back straight? Maybe I missed it earlier. Makes sense though, especially how tight Turns 1-3 are (and Turns 4-7 honestly). This will give drivers a chance to actually line up 2 by 2 as well. #IndyCar #ArlingtonGP

First look at a lap of the new Arlington track from Honda. Turns 4-5 are *very* tight. That could be a problem area on starts and restarts. Some of the faster sweeping corners such at T9 have potential to make or break a lap too. #IndyCar
