@EinarRetentive @StevenACohen2 deGrom didn’t want to be a Met and longer and wanted a state tax free contract. If you’re asking me if I wanted deGrom to be a met the answer would be yes, but not my choice.

Verlander missed all of 2020 and 2021 and is 40 years old with 3100+ IP to deGrom 1300+. Where’s the evidence JdG’s “best days behind him”?

@EinarRetentive @StevenACohen2 His best days are behind him and he wanted to leave for a No income tax state. deGrom will be lucky to average 12 starts a season in his new big Texas contract. He will be playing on a sub .500 team for the duration of his contract as well! LFGM!
