😱🏆 Something unprecedented tonight as PSG lifted the Ligue 1 trophy in a corner of their rival's stadium, in front of just 1,000 of their own fans, for barely 30 minutes before playing Paris FC. Paris FC refused the LFP's request to host the ceremony after the match because they had their own end-of-season celebrations planned, including tributes to departing players and a fireworks display. PSG then offered to host it at the Parc des Princes next door, but the prefecture blocked it over security concerns about large crowds gathering past 11pm. The only option left? A quick, no-podium ceremony in the away end. 30 minutes, 1,000 fans, then straight to warm-up. Unprecedented. 🇫🇷

@kevinhunterday @KieranMaguire @POF_POD Here we go again, word choices of ‘a kid’ instantly seeks to downplay the severity. It was an employed analyst who is a key part of the backdrop staff.
And it isn’t just as much cheating - a your ends of the spectrum comment confirms - it is pre-meditated and deliberate.

@Spreaderz @KieranMaguire @POF_POD I don’t disagree with you and haven’t tried to downplay the severity but I stick to my argument that most of the cheating that happens on pitch is also deliberate and is at an unprecedented but overlooked level in the game…

@kevinhunterday @KieranMaguire @POF_POD I gave you leeway for your clumsy comment on the podcast comparing a player feigning injury after a tackle in a match to the pre-planned actions of a club (if proven) to cheat and try to gain an unfair advantage. Are you sticking to the view that these amount to equal infringes?
