@Spreaderz @Chris_BoroUTB They offered nothing tho to warrant bringing another in. We were in complete control they didn’t look like scoring at all. Awful decision in my opinion to introduce him.

The striker debate is settled. It’s not up for argument or debate anymore. The quality and decision making in the final third is absolutely terrible. Conway and Strelec’s huge misses have cost us the game. Only team in the Top 6 not to improve their XI in January. Chucked it.

@Chris_BoroUTB Mental to blame that draw on them strikers 🤣 they had 1 shot in 2nd half and scored. The in game management has cost it. What made KH think we need an extra defender on. 🤣

Half-an-hour gone, and for all that #Boro have constructed some neat passing patterns, neither side has recorded an effort on target yet. 0-0

@JYaj He has to get at least 2 of those headers on target.

This is a crushing defeat for Boro tonight not least in supporter confidence. Only taking two points from the last three home games might prove to be the killer blow. But it’s still in our hands……

#NUFC good so far and have made life uncomfortable for Barcelona, whose boss Hansi Flick was complaining about home side's physicality inside three minutes. Lamine Yamal fortunate to avoid yellow card that would have ruled him out of second leg. Elanga a threat down NUFC right.

@mar_boro14 I’d rather they didn’t have games in hand but it could help us look much further away. And they might have to play in the midweek before us. Which could help

What does it mean for Boro? Well it would give Ipswich two games in hand on Boro once again if they don’t play Good Friday. And potentially leaving Ipswich with a game in hand as late as round 45. 😬 How do you feel about that from a Boro POV. That an advantage or not?

Interesting developments! Ipswich will NO LONGER be playing Southampton on Good Friday! *If* Norwich advance too, they won’t be play Portsmouth on Good Friday, therefore the Portsmouth vs Ipswich game in hand could be rearranged for Good Friday… HOWEVER….
Stuart Watson@Stuart_Watson

Ipswich will NOT be going to Southampton on Good Friday. Saints will now play in the FA Cup quarter-finals over Easter weekend following a late winner at Fulham this afternoon. Here's what it could mean for #itfc's fixtures 👇 eadt.co.uk/sport/25917968…

@pcolman1 @NickBeall73 @inrictus But that’s what he’s been asked to do. An example, Strelec’s header last night. He was out of the box on the wing linking and offering for the ball. Impossible to be in the middle to score.

@pcolman1 @NickBeall73 @inrictus He was leading the press and the trigger every time. Resulted in numerous turnovers and recoveries which then gave us the platform to attack. I watched and he is so often dropping out wide and short to pull players around and link up play he rarely gets in scoring positions

Boro in a back 5 just works. Said it time and time again. It complements the players we have perfectly and allows displays like that from Tiggs or Britts on another night. Ayling was clinical again with Fry and Malanda supporting. 👌

@pcolman1 @NickBeall73 @inrictus Conway was sensational. I’ll not hear otherwise. His discipline to do the job he is asked to do is phenomenal. Blew my mind. Strelec is a class player in there I believe. Needs a run of games

@NickBeall73 @inrictus Spot on. I’d use it again at QPR. But a different approach for upcoming home games Is find a way to start Strelec and Conway at home. As an aside, Conway was unreal last night. Set the tone. Seeing it at the ground made it even more clear his importance

@inrictus Do you think it inhibits us from dominating possession with that formation? And thus is more effective away from home than at home?
