Eliminate all distractions when trading to become truly professional. Thus, don't look at your phone or browse the web during your trading day, and only look at your positions and prices, when the market is closed. Small steps that are hard to follow, but make a big difference.
Isabel | Trading Psychology Expert@trad_ISABEL

The things you DON'T do? They matter MORE than what you do. Your trader's NOT-TO-DO list: - NEVER check charts outside your process - NEVER watch P&L mid-trade - NEVER peek at your balance - NEVER fantasize about flexing your wins - NEVER trade unfocused Each one PROTECTS your consistency. Consistency? It's the ONLY skill that separates you from the noise.

I think Frimpong is a good football player and a great guy, but he's so unreliable. Have to look for another RB in the summer.

@TradingComposur Correct, process must come first always. For example, focus on achieving a specific process goal, such as switching your PC off daily at the end of work, or never lowering a correctly placed stop. When process becomes more important than money, real progress will follow.

To fall in love with the process. This is one of the hardest things to teach yourself. Especially when real money is on the line. Yet it is key.

@SamueILFC Only because of Viktor Gyökeres, a striker who cost half his price, yet is twice as productive. What was Richard Hughes thinking paying £125m for an injury-prone Isak, when his fellow countryman Gyökeres, who rarely gets injured, cost only £64m🤔

@DaveOCKOP And Hugo Ekitiké is worth more than them both, at €300m. Uli Hoeneß with his arrogance and snide insults towards a bigger club @lfc, was so dumb he missed out on both Wirtz, and Ekitiké, whom he didn't even realise was the best striker of them all. A decision he will regret.

Bayern Munich's Uli Hoeneß on Harry Kane's worth in today's market: "It was a bit of a risk [spending around €100m on him in 2023]. But he's played incredibly well for us in recent years. If we consider the price-performance ratio, I'd say 150 million. But then you see that Alexander Isak of Liverpool cost 150 million euros. If he's worth 150 million, then Harry is worth 250 million euros." (Kicker)

Trading Professionalism 1. Create orders only when the market is closed. 2. Don't look at your positions when the market is open. 3. Totally avoid bad trades. 4. Place a trade with a planned stop, and leave it. 5. Switch off when work complete, don't come back till next day.

@TheAthleticFC Wirtz has been a success for Liverpool, though it took him some time to get going. His price, unlike that of Isak, is totally justified, and in line with other £100m+ PL midfielders But, he can do much better, especially as his linkup with our main striker Ekitiké improves.

Florian Wirtz's first season at Liverpool, following his £116m move from Bayer Leverkusen last summer, has been difficult to get a handle on. He hasn’t been good enough to be described as a definitive success, but not bad enough to be written off as a complete flop. At club level, he’s still working it out, still looking for his place, both literally and figuratively. For his country, he looks like he has found it. There are plenty of things for Germany to be worried about as the World Cup rapidly approaches, but Wirtz will not be one of them. 📝 @NickMiller79 bit.ly/4s2oxVf

@AnfieldWatch No, absolutely not. Ekitike is Liverpool's first-choice No. 9, and he must never play on the left, just to accommodate Isak. In fact why did Richard Hughes make the dumb decision to buy two top strikers to compete for one place?

Hugo Ekitike played brilliantly as a left-winger for France this week 🤩 With Alexander Isak coming back, Ekitike could replace Gakpo on the left wing surely 🤔

@asim_lfc Hugo Ekitike is a No. 9, pure and simple, no complex analysis required. And he's Liverpool's No. 1 striker, that is clear as day.

I’ve always been of the opinion that Liverpool’s attacking recruitment in the summer will a lot depend on which position they see Hugo Ekitike in long term. #LFC

@DaveOCKOP "we may sit here in 10 years, maybe Ekitike (breaks his record)" Even Klopp knows that Ekitike is now Liverpool's main striker, and definitely not Isak.

Jurgen Klopp on Mohamed Salah leaving Liverpool: "I hope he can have a successful rest of the season. We texted last night but I really hope he enjoys the rest of the season, but I know Mo can only enjoy it if you win football matches and he scores. "I really hope that on the last matchday, you all will have a smile on your face, be happy and thankful that one of the most incredible careers that we will ever be apart of. "Where he came from, what he went through and what he gave us, incredible. "When you work with him, the bigger view is just ridiculous, unmatched numbers, we may sit here in 10 years, maybe Ekitike (breaks his record) but it will be difficult. One of the all time greats leaves the club in the summer, lets see where he will show up next." The German added: "It was a joy, a challenge, hard work from both sides (to work with him), an incredible outcome. I couldn't imagine something like this was possible, the numbers he produced, the performances, some of them will be unmatched I'm sure. "I already look back and I can't believe how something like this was possible. The goals he scored, consistency he showed, the desire and eagerness to grow bigger and bigger." @TheAnfieldWrap

Xabi Alonso is ready to join Liverpool, according to Alex Hesse of Bild. Alonso is ready to accept a suitable offer from the Reds. His conditions include "influence over squad planning", according to Hesse.

@DaveOCKOP No. 1 mitigating factor is Richard Hughes wasting the clubs money, overspending on a highly-injury Isak by £45m, when he already bought a better striker, Ekitike. And even worse, not prioritising replacing the best winger in the league, Luis Díaz.

Liverpool believe they’ve already engineered part of life after Salah last summer, with the arrivals of Isak and Wirtz seen as key to reshaping the attack. While new winger(s) are still expected to directly replace the outgoing star, the club’s wider focus is on building the foundations for all the new & last summer signings. #LFC

@LFCApproved The same Alonso who Slot crushed effortlessly, and humiliatingly, 4-0 at Anfield last season? And who got sacked by Real Madrid after only half a season. You don't make big decisions based on sentimentality.

Liverpool are clearly interested & would want to get Xabi Alonso as their next manager, however Richard Hughes & Michael Edwards will have to change their stance and give him more power than what Arne Slot currently has. Alonso wants to be a manager, not coach.
