@KristenSmith16 Also a ton of variability here in OKC. We just do it for kids who are quite resistant to sedation weaning. Stanford has a sedation protocol that talks about washouts on LearnPICU.

Anyone have a guideline/suggestion for using propofol to desensitize patients on high-dose sedative infusions. The so-called wash-out? We have a lot of variability in our local practice and I’m trying to standardize it a bit. Anyone willing to share their local work? #PedsICU
