There’s a lot I can say about my brother Willie Green, teammate, friend, and now head coach of the New Orleans Pelicans. But I’ll be brief and save our stories for my next book. In 2000 when he became my teammate as a freshman the first thing I noticed about him was his character and professionalism. He played the game the right way. An unreal athlete with excellent awareness and scoring ability. By 2001 we became the best backcourt in the nation along with our other brother (Greg Grays). We would terrorize college basketball en route to a final 4 NIT birth. Willie’s NBA career continues today as he’s on a journey to lead his New Orleans Pelicans to playoff/championship status. We have so much in common, even our oldest daughters are the same age while being three days apart. Real brothers. I’ll tell more at a later date. Until then Talk Soon. Go read the Position Metric.
