It is great to see @AR_Coffee13 roll out @2GoCup_org at their new coffee stand in Colbert station. I would like to see more businesses in Limerick using this excellent scheme to reduce wastage from paper cups ♻️ These keep cups are only €2 and you can return them and reuse them

On July 31st, Killarney became the first Irish town to ban disposable coffee cups!
Customers pay a €2 deposit for a @2GoCup_org which is returnable in 350 Irish locations.
In Ireland, we throw away about 200 million cups each year. If Killarney can do it, any town can!

There are so many bizarre claims in it (some listed below) - clearly the "Irish Paper Packaging Circularity Alliance" got what they paid for.

Sadly the wildlife affected by the discarded cups, forests cut down to make them and the soil farmed to dust to make the bioplastics that line them (compostible cups are not composted) don't have the resources to commission reports to outline how they're being destroyed.
