Why can @Tesla updates not happen automatically when the car is plugged in and parked?

The newest version of @Tesla full self driving is mind blowing! V14.2 is what I’ve been imagining for a long time. It now can drive you without any interference as long as you keep your eyes on the road! Unreal

@Tesla there should be an open all option on the home screen when you park.

Another V14 highlight: quickness of mind changing. You know those moments on V13 when you’re at a 4 way stop, it’s your turn to go, V13 starts to go, but the person at the stop sign to your left creeps a little and alarms V13, forcing it to stop the maneuver? When this happens, though rare, it usually doesn’t re-engage the maneuver right after it’s clear that the car was just creeping and didn’t intend to cut you off. So you have to tap the accelerator to avoid an embarrassing stalemate. That seems to be gone now. It is instantly reacting to these sorts of changes. I was at a stop sign waiting to take an unprotected turn onto a busy road in high traffic, and the SECOND I noticed the oncoming car slowing to wave me on, V14 noticed and took the maneuver with full confidence like we would. Decision making latency reduction is the thing I keep thinking about. Smooth this version out and it’s a haymaker.

Today, my Model Y drove me 325 miles (5.5 hours) across three states, from New Hampshire to Upstate New York, on @Tesla’s FSD (Supervised) v13.2.9, with no interventions the entire way, even through rain. So, basically, I pressed 'Start,' and then a robot drove me for 5.5 hours.
