The very definition of #fakenews On #WorldPressFreedomDay you are 12 years in @FedCourt_CAN_en arguing gov’t can share news media passwords and shotgun content across the public service without payment or permission. Sit down. @JusticeCanadaEN @MarkJCarney @CdnHeritage #cdnmedia
Prime Minister of Canada@CanadianPM

On #WorldPressFreedomDay, we recognise the fundamental role of a free press in strengthening our democracy. At all hours and on every front, they define and defend our values. Canada will always stand for a free and independent media, and for the values that protect it.

David Adams, CEO, Global Automakers of Canada- “Opening the doors to Chinese EVs now would render Canada's investments in the sector pointless, because Chinese vehicles would take over the market.” Note: China's low labour, environmental standards along with state subsidies are why cdn automakers demand a level playing field -

🌹🇨🇦🇨🇳🌹 Welcome the upcoming visit of China’s Foreign Minister to Canada. x.com/stevenchase/st… At a time of global uncertainty, Canada must act with confidence—not hesitation. China represents one of the most important economic opportunities for our country—supporting our farmers, businesses, exporters, and long-term growth. Expanding trade, restoring dialogue, and building stable relations will benefit Canadians across sectors. National security today is also economic security. Reducing overdependence on any single partner and diversifying toward China and other global markets strengthens Canada’s resilience, sovereignty, and long-term stability. A recent Nanos poll found 55% of Canadians say the United States poses the greatest threat to Canada’s national security—compared to just 15% for China: dailycaller.com/2026/02/20/can… This visit is an opportunity to reset relations, rebuild trust, and move forward with pragmatism and purpose. Canada should seize it.

@SenatorVictorOh Allowing even ONE Chinese slave labor cars into Canada is economic malpractice by the Liberals. Canada has only just made 40,000 EVs in Canada. Despite some FIFTY BILLION subsidies. All other EVs receiving 'rebates' are paying tax dollars to FOREIGN makers Taking Canadian jobs

Germany’s disastrous decision to cancel nuclear power should have been obvious nearly 15 years ago. The resulting energy crisis is a stark cautionary tale about the profound dangers of ideology-driven policy. Canada has its own version with the anti-fossil fuel agenda that cost tens of billions in cancelled projects and continues with linking a northern pipeline to costly carbon capture while blocking a west coast pipeline.

URSULA VON DER LEYEN: LOOKING BACK, I BELIEVE IT WAS A STRATEGIC MISSTEP FOR GERMANY TO ABANDON NUCLEAR ENERGY — IF WE ARE SERIOUS ABOUT CLIMATE, BOTH GAS AND COAL ARE FAR MORE HARMFUL THAN NUCLEAR.

"Carney's video address declaring Canada's historical American ties a 'national weakness'—Brock figurine and all—reads as either hypocrisy or expediency. Either way, the rhetoric risks costing Canada at the bargaining table even if it scores at home." -David Polansky, Hub.ca

It's easy to find consensus that Europeans like Carney/Canada better than Trump/USA - BUT THE REAL QUESTION IS who are they buying their oil, natural gas and jet fuel from? US hands down, not even close.

Is the Liberal government blowing it again Heather Exner-Pirot, Macdonald Laurier Institute “Unfortunately, while both governments have taken steps toward this critical national interest objective since signing the MOU, the pace of change has been slow, and we are at risk of letting this opportunity pass Canada by. Because of complex regulatory processes, uncompetitive carbon frameworks and fiscal systems that do not incent growth, there has not been a major new greenfield oil sands project sanctioned in Canada since 2013 and investment has dramatically declined.”

@wealthmoose @CityNewsTO Good thing we JUST HAD THE SPRING FISCAL UPDATE. Who could have EVER realized our aluminum, steel and manufacturing needed help, or actually negotiate a trade deal. Certainly not the MULTIPLE recent parliamentary committee testimonies right? Liberals are running a clown show

You won’t believe this. Or the plot twist. Check out what Trump wants to do to America: -He wants to search YOUR mail, without a warrant -He wants to give his inner circle the power to pardon anyone for any violation that isn't criminal -He wants to turn off all cameras from the public, for any investigations conducted by the other party- -HE WANTS TO HIDE THINGS FROM THE PUBLIC -He's freezing out journalists who ask tough questions -Through negotiations, he was able to secure power to pass ANY law he wants -He cutting backroom deals with foreign governments and hiding those details from public scrutiny -He appointed a close friend to be an ambassador -His close friend, got $2 billion of taxpayer dollars as a loan to grow his company -He appointed a close friend's spouse to a senior government role Here's the surprise. Everything I just listed. That's not Donald Trump. It's Mark Carney. Right here. In Canada.

A Sechelt mother was reported to child services simply for questioning a school land acknowledgement. Her children were interrogated at home. The file was closed immediately with no concerns found, and yet she was banned from school grounds. This is completely unacceptable. Families must come first. That is why I am running for the leadership of the BC Conservative Party. I will put families first and restore common sense to our schools. Join me Findlay4BC.ca

For years, MSM and Liberal mouthpieces have been spreading propaganda on how, if elected, the Conservative will privatize things. CPC couldn't even come close to the subject. Now, the Liberals are looking to sell core assets because they deteriorated Canada's financial position and now the sellout of Canada to foreign interests will continue. "These are Canadian assets and therefore the proceeds will belong to Canadians." Just like these assets are Canadians' so is the record debt. Unbelievable.

If @PierrePoilievre was a nobody and the PMs numbers were real, this would not be true.
Cole Hogan@colewhogan

Ottawa, ON –The Conservative Party of Canada announced today it raised over $9.4 million in the first quarter of 2026, marking the Party’s second-best non-election Q1 fundraising result on record. Under @PierrePoilievre, Conservatives continue to build strong grassroots support. In Q1 alone, 40,410 contributors gave a total of $9,430,682. As Canadians struggle with the rising cost of housing, food, and fuel, tens of thousands are choosing to back the Conservative vision with their hard-earned dollars.
