Exciting times ahead for Jr A in Canada with the new #BCHC. To clarify: They will NOT (yet) be competing for the Centennial Cup. That needs a #CJHL board approval first. Once approved, I would expect we see a return of regional etc in favor of the current 10 team format.

Monday night wrapped up my hockey announcing season, and I’m feeling nothing but gratitude. I’m fortunate to lend my voice to the local hockey scene, and I’ll keep doing it as long as I have a voice to share. This year also brought more writing opportunities which I thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you for welcoming my voice into your homes on SIJHL TV and for saying hello in rinks across the region. Now it’s time to enjoy the off-season and to start thinking ahead to the 2026/27 season!
