We are alarmed that Prime Minister @MarkJCarney is refusing to “categorically rule out” Canada’s participation in the war on Iran, even after he acknowledged yesterday that the US-Israeli attacks appear to violate international law. It shouldn’t be this difficult. Canadians do not want to join this illegal war of aggression, and we refuse to let allow Carney leave that door open.

Your government explicitly endorsed illegal US-Israeli attacks that deliberately sabotaged negotiations with Iran over its nuclear program. You can't pretend that you support a diplomatic and peaceful solution. Call for a ceasefire.

The rhetoric coming out of the government of Canada re Iran is nothing short of Kafkaesque. Your statement that Canada supports the U.S.-Israeli aggression is entirely incompatible with a commitment to the peaceful resolution of international disputes, per logic and law.
