Joe Pyfer says he was just seconds away from taking his own life after struggling with recent mental health challenges: "I had a calling in my head, I felt like that's not what I wanted to do, but I was trying to escape again, like I've always done, which is run away from pain and trying to bury it in something. For once, I finally faced it and I just cried out and asked God to save me and bring me to him and trust in him. It's probably the hardest thing I've ever done, because quitting is easy. It was a matter of seconds and that prayer is what saved me."
