Pragmata just tossed me into the first major test of "here, have a wad of different enemies" - had to alternate the weapons I had with hacking. Tight room, was quite tense but rewarding. So gratifying sometimes other than "just shoot 'em all!"

Just started Mouse P.I. for Hire. There's a LOT to like about this game. It knows what it is. Hacking is simple but surprisingly fun. Whoa, lotta air control! Love that they're owning the "monster closet" trope with skulls on doors. "No Entry - Yet" haha. Music and style are fantastic. A steamboat named...Willie...ISEEWHATUDIDTHERE. Here's a lil' game that knows what it is and it's really fun to play. Enjoying the hell out of it. With content like this and Spider Noir feels like film noir style is coming back into the zeitgeist. (and if you watch Spider Noir in color we are no longer friends.)

Women’s golf is where the WNBA was five years ago before Caitlin Clark. It had little fanfare, small tv audiences, and minimal media coverage. What if women’s basketball had done what many suggest women’s golf should do — make the game easier? Would Clark be a megastar if she was burying logo 3s on an 8-foot goal? No chance. Shortening courses won’t grow women’s golf. Athleticism and personalities will. So will playing better golf courses. No offense to the older guys, but when I grew up watching the PGA TOUR, many of them had pot bellies. Tiger Woods changed it. He made the tour more athletic AND dynamic. Making golf courses for the women longer, firmer, and faster will force the women’s game to become more athletic… and every sports fan knows that’s when people really start paying attention. (📸: LPGA)
