The excellent work from @Kevinnota93 is now out in Environmental DNA: onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/ed… The design presented advances the DNA characterization of plant communities from (paleo-)environmental samples, and helps characterize important bias.

We are happy to share that our paper on Enriching barcoding markers in environmental samples is out in Environmental DNA onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/ed… We show which variables impacting relative abundance estimates of taxa and make recommendations for bait design to mitigate these.

Does anyone know where we can find diversity data on hops? SNPs, radseq, or even genomic sequences from a few different strains / wild hops? with @Kevinnota93

Looking for data: we have a side project where we're trying to get stickleback DNA from lake sediment samples. We've found good SNP data for nine-spine sticklebacks, but little for three-spine. We're looking for a VCF, a set of variable sites, etc. Anyone have any suggestions?
