@Dishsoaptft Sure, I agree that the surrounding board is trash, and I probably could have taken a better screenshot example later in the game once I put together a better board, but it’s also far harder to put together a decent board on 7 when 4-5 total odds are at 11%.

@LastKardax Board is questionable, but if you don’t have access to Swain/5 costs, how would you significantly improve this board in this state. Liss only showed up by the time I already lost to Lux 1 and you can’t just “toss in” a legendary if you never see one on 7

@Kevinramen Mostly Agree,
The 3 Cost space has kind of lost its carry identity in recent sets.
I think there should be a stronger emphasis on buffing up the 3 Star 3 Cost Carries to slightly outperform 2 Star itemized 4 costs and underperformed 2 star 5 Costs.

@Kevinramen I agree overall but disagree in this particular scenario: Piltover here does 0 for Zoe’s dmg & she has only invoker active. Lux has probably 7 demacia, invoker and arcanist active, it’s all fine.
+ ur Zoe’s getting stunned prolly too

@JukeYouTFT I'll take someone being an item up/closer to BIS than someone being level 10 on 5-1 any day. If augments are gonna stay as central as they are, I prefer the option that requires some knowledge of unit interaction over "here's more money"

@Kevinramen I mean if you removed econ augments then it just becomes whether or not you get item augment. Not sure if there's ever a world where different categories of augments are balanced relative to each other.

@Triplemoonnstre In an ideal world, I agree. Don't think the current state of the game adheres to that. No econ augment = stuck being unable to push levels. If you roll, you're so behind on econ/tempo compared to the rest of the lobby mid to late game, so you have to pray you natural something.

@Kevinramen Idk the whole point of winstreaking is taking 1 more board augment and still be able to match other players econ and cap higher lategame

This reflects a major gripe that I have. One question that I’ve been extremely curious about for a while is this: What is the AVP for games where a player doesn’t have any econ augments? For me. this feels like a more interesting Q than looking at individual augment placements

@ClementKChu I understand the desire to keep some form of these around - I will admit that they are fun. If they are kept in, I’d prefer a push towards transformative, lateral strength adjustments instead of “exodia if you have x condition, useless if you don’t”

@Kevinramen I'm down to remove hyper specific artifacts and hero augments. They always have to be balanced with the combo in mind.
