🚨🚨Popular TikToker Lando and a Police Officer got into a heated “he said, she said” debate on TikTok Live over the events surrounding Buju’s death. Body cameras could’ve cleared up many of the conflicting claims. @JamaicaConstab, this officer is giving the JCF more bad PR.

I keep hearing this argument since that report came out estimating that Jamaicas spend J$500 million on Only Fans.
However, it’s not adding up. If a scammer uses a stolen U.S. card from a raw Jamaican IP address, modern payment gateways immediately flag the transaction as a high-risk geo-discrepancy (e.g., card holder is in Ohio, but the charge is originating from a mobile network in Jamaica). The transaction fails instantly. Jamaica IP address requires Jamaican cards. And for the site to allow the wide scale abuse of carding at its mature business stage? Highly unlikely.

A new international digital economy report says Jamaicans spent more than J$830 million on OnlyFans subscriptions across 2024 and 2025.
The report also ranked Jamaica 17th in North and South America for per capita spending in 2025, with spending reportedly rising from J$380 million in 2024 to J$450 million in 2025.
