We’ve also got these famous rifles in our family that were used in both the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812. It honestly feels like I’m reading through a Scottish version of The Last Kingdom lol.

Wow, I found part of that tree… I finally got the full binder from my dad and holy shit, it just keeps getting crazier the deeper I go. Turns out my dad’s side has a documented bloodline that fought beside both William Wallace and Robert the Bruce, then centuries later armed the American Revolution. Still trying to wrap my head around it all. It’s why I’ve been hardly active on X the last couple of days lol
