@FutureOrderflow How's this going to work with JPM doing this in /ES? They risk being assigned the contracts if any of those strikes close ITM.

Q2 JPM collar is set. 5,210/6,180 put spread vs 6,865 short call. 6,180 is your structural floor for the next three months. Above it, dealers short the put stay long delta, same mechanical bid that kept 6,475 as a floor all Q1 until the Iran escalation broke it. SPX is sitting ~350pts above the strike right now. 6,865 is the ceiling to keep on the map as we grind through Q2. Worth noting: this wasn't executed in the SPX options chain like it historically has been. It went through CME's newer SME product, which settles at the 4 pm cash close instead of the 9:30 am SOQ (Special opening Quote). That matters because JPM marks NAV at 4 pm. Hedging via SPX options (which settle to the SOQ) creates a basis gap of billions in notional. SME eliminates it. The flows still show up in ES delta hedging either way, but the single-strike SPX signature that traders used to spot the roll is going to get harder to read going forward. #JPM

Its been prime intraday conditions today in #ES_F. Range expansion finally. 6575 was support given 8am, with 6592 reclaim long trigger. Targets given were 6604 (hit), 6623 (hit), 6638 (not yet) Now flushing 6575 finally. 6564, 6542 below. 75 must reclaim to pop. Bears control<92
