Today is a happy day for the Cake Group, our customers, and our talented team. This afternoon, the judge dismissed the winding up application for against the Company Cake Group Pte Ltd. He noted, among other things, that Cake Group Pte Ltd was a thriving enterprise of value. With this decision, the uncertainty for customers, team members and partners ends today. In the meantime, it’s back to building. Onwards and upwards.

Dear @uzyn I had hoped for a long time that you and Julian would get back together, but as the last few weeks have shown, this will not happen. You are one of the masterminds behind #DeFiChain, you helped build this masterpiece and made it tick. Many other great projects are now building on this, a strong community has formed and the basis for something very big has been created. Cake is such an important player in this ecosystem and your current conflict is destroying everything you have built. If you really trust yourself to run the company and everything that goes with it and you really want to do it, then do it, but don't disappoint the community and the employees! Otherwise, resign, find a quick agreement with Julian and move on. Keep your DFI and you will share in the success. Leave on good terms and the community will remember you as a great inventor of #DeFiChain. Sometimes showing greatness also means being able to let go of something.

Cake Group CEO offers to sell stake to former CTO in court hearing buff.ly/3TcRhMQ

In a surprise turn of events, 1 business day before the court hearing yesterday, Julian Hosp made an offer for me to buy over the entirety of his wife and his Cake Group shares, thereby allowing them both to exit Cake Group. Even though the offer came outside of the usual document submission window for court proceedings, I am putting in serious consideration in taking up the offer by Julian. Court was therefore adjourned.
