What do you mean by those words 👀
Dead by Daylight@DeadbyDaylight
Death beckons... Can you hear it?
English

@FlippySuper Well KH4 is claimed to be a the start of a new arc and a game that is welcoming to newcomers. Since this arc is strongly tied to Union Cross, they will need to find some way to explain that story to get people caught up.
English

@Key_Cast I just don’t believe they’d put that much effort with mobile games. I know they’re canon and matter, but in the mainline games they’re not mentioned as much, just implied. KH3 had that one scene with the UX players, but it’s not like the whole game revolved around it.
English

@YoungXehanort13 I wouldn't say that was the book of Prophecies in the opening cinematic. It was basically pages from Jiminy's journals. The way the pages were summoning stuff tho is a good comparison to what the book of Prophecies does.
English

@Key_Cast Hold up... Does that mean that we've already gotten a glimpse of the Book of Prophecies before it was even introduced in the series during the opening cinematic of KHDDD
English

The power of the Book of Prophecies explained in one sentence.

@s_ttvlv @EuchreBB @KHframes It's because Keyblades choose their wielders. Riku was chosen by the Kingdom Key. That's why he was able to steal it back from Sora. When Sora encountered him again, he proved that his heart was stronger than Riku's, which made the Kingdom Key choose him as its new wielder.
English

@EuchreBB @KHframes I’m interested, where did the idea that keyblades are sentient come from?
I assumed it was just strength of heart?
in sora’s moment of self doubt the keyblade was “stolen” by Riku.
when Sora comes back with new resolve/unfaltering his heart is strong so it goes back to him.
English

@thefireflytrio That never really changed. All Keyblades choose their wielders, and if someone who doesn't have a strong heart picks up a person's Keyblade, it will go back to its wielder. I would like them to show more scenes of it happening more in future titles tho.
English

can we bring bring back the keyblade being semi sentient please
Kingdom Hearts frames@KHframes
English

@YahyaDanboos Yeah. Not everything you see in a secret ending makes it into the final version of that sepecific future KH title.
English

@Key_Cast So rather than an actual moment that happened in the game, this is just a symbolic vision?
English

@YahyaDanboos You could also look at it as:
Terra: Gives Riku the power to be chosen by the Kingdom Key.
Aqua: Her bond with Mickey while also becoming trapped in the realm of darkness.
Ven: Riku is the reason why Sora reaches out to Ven's heart allowing him to take refuge inside him.
English

@YahyaDanboos Secret endings are mostly for concept ideas, foreshadowing, and teases for a future Kingdom Hearts title. Terra, Ven, and Aqua picking up those 3 Keyblades are symbolic.
Terra: Still in the realm of light.
Ven: Sleeping in the realm between.
Aqua: Trapped in realm of darkness.

@SoraKeyHearts Yeah Genie was definitely most likely around in that era as well due to him being alive for many years lol
English

@SoraKeyHearts Yeah, Genie is another example of a powerful, god-like being that knew of the Keyholes. The villains in KH 1 only knew about the Keyblade and Keyholes because Maleficent explained it to them. She gained the knowledge from Master Xehanort.
English

@Key_Cast It makes sense. My doubt stemmed from the fact that I've seen characters who know about the lock (mainly the villains), but Triton is the first "secondary" character I remember who has knowledge of it. But now that you said that it really makes sense to me!
