@RobDancing @SeagullTheDev @AMindJokePoGo @SusySusiePOGO @VamperistOG Can we finally do our lucky trade in Utrecht? Lol
English

When I said there was a HUGE European delegation going to Kagaribi #15 in Tokyo this weekend, I was not kidding!
Be sure to tune in and root for all of these legends and more!

@TheOx5005 @Firestar73_ @Sceptileice2553 Because Firestar made a bad move and basically this action makes the results completely indisputable. I feel really bad for him and want to know the reasoning why he signed the match slip he disagrees with
English

@KeysSSB @Firestar73_ @Sceptileice2553 If signing a match slip *after* an appeal had the magical power you say, then P!P would have used that in their explanation. They never did, and you can't point to a single thing to back that up. You're stretching for any reason you can to partially blame this on Firestar. Why?
English

Thanks for all the support once again. After researching and organizing my thoughts, I am posting my official entire experience at this tournament, proposing rule changes for the future, and looking over the current state of judging as a whole.

Statement Regarding Orlando Pokémon Regional Championships pkmn.news/3OFDcrA
English

@TheOx5005 @Firestar73_ @Sceptileice2553 And I can’t tell if you’re an idiot at this point. It doesn’t matter how any of us sees it, it’s simply that TPCi sees that Firestar signed that match slip, so in their eyes he agrees to the results and that can’t be disputed. Don’t sign something you don’t agree with
English

@KeysSSB @Firestar73_ @Sceptileice2553 Can't tell if you're serious at this point. Intentionally committing "major unsporting conduct" is not the best way to get them on your side by a long shot. Signing a match under duress obviously doesn't mean "he agrees with the result" no matter how many times you say it.
English

@TheOx5005 @Firestar73_ @Sceptileice2553 Look at what you wrote. He doesn’t sign the match slip it’s grounds for a loss, he does sign the match slip he auto loses because then he agrees with the results. Think for a second and tell me in which scenario he is more likely to be able to dispute the results of 2nd place
English

@KeysSSB @Firestar73_ @Sceptileice2553 1. It says that literally nowhere. In fact it's "major unsporting conduct" to "refuse" to "sign[] a match slip," and the penalty is "Match Loss." (Penalty Guidelines 5.3.1). Plus it's common sense that when higher-ups deliberate for an HOUR, refusing to sign will change nothing.
English

@AMindJokePoGo I must’ve missed something, when did it change?
English

@TheOx5005 @Firestar73_ @Sceptileice2553 Bad analogy, because nobody is consenting to getting robbed. Firestar didn’t have to sign the slip, he voluntarily did so. It’s not right and the loss is not his fault, but that was a bad thing he shouldn’t have done
English

@KeysSSB @Firestar73_ @Sceptileice2553 It's like we all just watched someone get robbed on the street and your response is, "Uh well if he had just run RIGHT instead of LEFT he could have gotten away from the robber" rather than saying "That robber is a piece of shit." Gimme a break dude.
English

@TheOx5005 @Firestar73_ @Sceptileice2553 1. You sign that slip, it basically means you consented to the loss. Not signing the slip means you don’t consent. Seems like a no brainer that it’s harder to fight a loss if you consent to it. 2. How is this relevant to the case and why do you bring it up?
English

@KeysSSB @Firestar73_ @Sceptileice2553 1. Harder to dispute? How? HJ said no, higher-ups *also* said no. What avenue would have been open if he hadn't signed it? Be specific. 2. Not semantics - this judge was beneath everyone who already said no. What specifically should Firestar have expected this person to do?
English

@TheOx5005 @Firestar73_ @Sceptileice2553 1. I’m not saying it’s his fault, but he is partially to blame yes for signing an official match he disagrees with. This is completely relevant for the problem at hand, because that makes it infinitely harder to dispute a result you ‘agree’ with. 2. Why are you arguing semantics?
English

@KeysSSB @Firestar73_ @Sceptileice2553 1. Even if he made a strategic error in how best to dispute it, are you saying that makes this his fault? Be direct about why you think this is even relevant. 2. It wasn't "the head judge that gave him the match slip," as you say--it was "[a] judge I had not yet seen," he says.
English

@TheOx5005 @Firestar73_ @Sceptileice2553 Dispute it to the head judge that gave him the match slip to sign? I don’t think it’s reasonable at all to think your best bet was to be cooperative. Seems pretty straight forward that once you sign that slip it’s over, no disputing results after that
English

@KeysSSB @Firestar73_ @Sceptileice2553 To whom? The Head Judge had ruled and it had been escalated for more than an hour. Totally reasonable to think his best bet was to be cooperative and then file a support ticket. Is there any legit doubt that he was robbed here??
English

@YMegaSnorlax I saw you on the leaderboard for like a week with a 2980 rating lol
English

@PatomanPOGO Ayyy my man can’t wait to see you again in Utrecht
English

@summoningsalt @rand0mnumbers Yes, but there are also a lot of documentaries that try that and fail. You’re only seeing the successful ones in this regard
English

@rand0mnumbers I really don't think that'd be a problem, plenty of documentaries do it successfully
English

@Toad43484 Not condoning the hate, but I do think TPCi threw the judges under a bus a bit with their recent statement. It seemed like the judges made the call and people disagree with that
English

@SylveonAlcremie @huskystar77 If that’s the case then the Play Pokémon Championship series would not exist in the first place
English

@huskystar77 We’re now at a point where it’s becoming clear that TPCi’s interests are not with the fans and are completely profit driven
