My interpretation was that Folgueiras was trying to punch the ball. If he tried to punch Condon he would have connected because he was lying on top of him. It was up to the refs to determine whether he made enough contact with Condon to warrant an ejection, and apparently they did not.

I kept trying to tell people this but they didn't listen... Ben McCollum was a great coach at the FCS level... But that doesn't always translate to the next. Iowa just doesn't have a prioritized, well-shaped men's basketball program...They haven't made it past the 2nd round this century, and struggle against top teams (like football). I tried to tell people a team full of a bunch of FCS transfers is going to have some big holes like fouling frequently, physicality, and pace of play... Iowa basketball will be a B1G bottom feeder for the years to come, it's just the way it is. Sooner Iowa fans like Chris accept it, the less they'll humiliate themselves when they claim BC will be the "coach of the year"

@sportsjunk28017 I can’t debate this with a f$cking clown, but let me reiterate one more time. Stirtz was 2nd team all conference in D2 his 1st year under McCollum, and now he’s a D1 All American. I know for you it’s scary to think Iowa coaches contributed to his development. Get used to it.

@Tyler_T15 Correlation: Iowa had Stirtz. Iowa would not be in the tournament without Stirtz. McCollum hasn’t done a great job of actual coaching, especially in end of game situations
