Adam Doueihi has been ruled out and will go for scans after suffering a shoulder injury. A textbook “try scorers” mechanism - landing on an outstretched arm. Brings concern for shoulder dislocation, could see what appeared to be the shoulder “popping back in” after medical staff got to him. Wide recovery range pending scans & further assessment - as a general guide: - minimal structural damage & good prospects for joint stability: rehab for 3-6 weeks - significant damage/joint unstable & immediate reconstruction surgery required: 3-5 months Surgery often required at some stage but players can attempt to delay this til postseason - but re-injury risk is elevated moving forward.
